Cindy Crawford

CindyCynthia Ann Crawford was born 20th February 1966. She is an American model, actress and a TV host. She was a supermodel as well as an iconic model on magazine covers, runways, and fashion advertisements in the 1980s and 1990s. She subsequently expanded into acting and business ventures. She was approached in her sophomore year by a local clothing shop regarding modeling. But, it turned out to be an attempt to make fun of two of her classmates. Crawford was one of the high school girls employed by another retailer, who also participated in a fashion shoot. In her junior year, local photographer Roger Legel, whose duties included photographing another college student to be the week's coed on the DeKalb Nite Weekly, asked to take her picture for the publication; the result was her first cover. [9] Her positive feedback and the photograph convinced her to start modeling. In the beginning, she was with a small agency, which was purchased by Elite Model Management shortly after she signed. In 1983, she entered Elite's Look of the Year contest at 17 and made the finals at national level.
