Teryl Rothery is a Canadian actor from stage, television and film. She is famous for playing Janet Fraiser in the TV series Stargate SG-1. She was the main character in Cedar Cove's Grace Sherman, as well as appearing in major roles such as Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring in Arrow as well as Celia Hudson, in Nancy Drew. She has been involved in numerous television shows. Rothery began dancing when she was nine years old and thought 1995 to be her first year as an entertainer. Her first professional performance opportunities as a performer came in the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13[3] and in the production of Marpole Community Theatre of The Sound of Music at age 14. As a young person she performed dance in The Irish Rovers variety television series,[2] and at age 18 she made her debut on television with a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television special to celebrate Halloween.
